Q)  Why should I bring my vehicle back to Saccucci's for oil change and service?

A)  When your vehicle was certified a comprehensive diagnostic was done, which means we know your vehicle very well.  We will make sure that all necessary and recommended services are done so that your vehicle will be in top running condition.  If you purchased the warranty through Saccucci's we want to service the vehicle back at our dealership for all history records.

Q)  What does ASE certified mean?

A)  ASE stands for Automotive Service Excellence.  The backbone of any shop is the competence of its technicians.  ASE is the industry-leading certification program for automotive professionals.  ASE certification means that an individual has passed tough industry-developed exams.

Q)  How can I save money on gas?

A)  Well here at Saccucci's of Schaumburg, we have a product that saves you gas money and gas pains!  Freedom Fuel is a fuel additive that reduces engine knock, fights octane requirement increase (ORI) to help eliminate the need for higher than recommended octane gasoline.  So if your car REQUIRES 93 Octane gas, then all you have to do is get 89 Octane and add 1 oz of freedom fuel, to save you the money and gain 3-5 MPG!

Q)  Why should I do basic maintenance on my vehicle?

A)  Tuning up your vehicles' engine requires a great deal more than simply replacing spark plugs and your oil.  It does require the use of our state-of-the-art testing equipment to be sure that all mechanical, electrical and computer devices are working properly.  It also means that replacing your air filter, which protects your engine from harmful debris and lets your engine breathe freely, along with the pcv valve.  The gasoline you use in your tank again isn't the cleanest, thats why manufacturers use a fuel filter to filter out those dirty particles.  Over time the fuel filter can get very clogged, hurt gas mileage and even over work the fuel pump.

Q)  Why and when should I change my transmission fluid?

A)  Your transmission is a major component of the driveline, it transfers power from the engine to the wheels of the vehicle.  This is accomplished through the use of gears, clutch packs and fluids within the transmission.  The fluids are under constant pressure, lubricating and cooling internal transmission parts as you drive.  Over time, the fluid picks up contaminants and begins to break down, causing it to lose ability to properly lubricate and cool your transmission.  The proper time to flush your transmission fluid coordinates with the manufacturers specifications.
